It’s hard to believe that another six months have passed since the last post. Kayleigh was just going through a transition to preschool the last time a post was made. It was a difficult decision to pull Kayleigh out of the daycare that she had been in since she was 12 weeks old, but Mom and Dad quickly learned it was the right decision.
Kayleigh has learned so much in preschool. The new environment is much more geared towards learning and creative play, and she is really enjoying it. It took awhile to make some new friends. Kayleigh has always been shy, but within the first couple of weeks, she was coming home and rattling off the names of her new classmates.
Kayleigh continues to adore her brother, Lucas. Of the two, he is the aggressive one. He can even be a bit of a bully at times, but on good days, he showers her with hugs and an occasional kiss. He is very lucky to have Kayleigh as a sister. She just loves having him around as a buddy. It has been so much fun watching them interact with one another and play together. Mom and Dad find themselves laughing at the two of them on a daily basis.

Haven't been to the blog for a while. Understand Congratulations are in order for all of you. Grandma Eve told me you were expecting again. Also that Kayleigh will be undergoing some surgeries. Just wanted you to know that we will keep you all in our prayers. I think of you every time I use the dishwasher because of Kayleigh's "Michigan's dirty" blog. LOL I have that magnet for clean(OSU) and dirty (Mich.) dishes. GO BUCKS!!
